The DC Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) is holding the hearing about the property, which was offered as part of a Solicitation for Offers (SFO) in May 2017. The hearing will ensure that citizens are informed about the sale and have the chance to publicly present their views.

The selected developer proposes a 52-unit condominium project with mostly family-sized units--20 one-bedrooms, 19 two-bedrooms, and 13 three-bedrooms. The building will be 60 percent affordable, at no more than $70,320 (60 percent of the Median Family Income [MFI]). The remaining units will be market rate. The developer is also planning a resident community garden.

Date and Time: Monday, November 5, 2018 at 6:00 p.m.

Location: DHCD 1st Floor Conference Room, 1800 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE
