Join WABA for a bike ride from Congress Heights Metro Station to Old Town Alexandria. We’ll ride down Oxon Run Trail, through Oxon Hill Farm, and over the Woodrow Wilson Bridge to Alexandria! 

This is a leisurely paced, no-drop ride which means we’ll all stick together! The route is about 10 miles. We’ll also be walking some hills if we need to. We plan to talk about routes and highlight trail connections along the way. A plus? Finding good cycling friends, too! 

Bring money with you to enjoy coffee or ice cream in Old Town Alexandria (optional fun!) Or, bring a snack from home.

Helmets are required on this ride. 

Note: This ride starts at Congress Heights Metro Station and ends at Waterfront Park in Old Town, Alexandria. There are options to ride with a ride leader on the Mt. Vernon Trail to 14th Street Bridge and back to Congress Heights. We’ll be close to the King Street Metro Station and Braddock Road Metro Station to return as well.
