MPD Investigating Fatal Shooting in Northeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in Northeast.
On Saturday, June 1, 2024, at approximately 10:34 p.m., officers responded to the 600 block of 18th Street, Northeast, for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital. After all life-saving efforts failed, he was pronounced dead.
The victim has been identified as 15-year-old Victor Bolden of Northeast.
