MPD 7D | Vehicle Sought in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) Offense: 3200 b/o 23rd Street, SE

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Seventh District seek the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a vehicle in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Friday, April 29, 2022, in the 3200 block of 23rd Street, Southeast.
At approximately 1:55 pm, members of the Seventh District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, members located an adult male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect vehicle, described as an orange Dodge Challenger with a solid black racing stripe, rear spoiler, black wheels, and an unknown paper tag, was captured by nearby surveillance cameras and can be seen in the photos below:
