MPD 7D | Suspect Sought in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) Offense: 4600b/o South Capitol Street, SW

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Seventh District seek the public’s assistance identifying a suspect in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Saturday, May 15, 2021, in the 4600 Block of South Capitol Street, Southwest. 

At approximately 12:52 am, members of the Seventh District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, members located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
