MPD 6D VIDEO | Man Sought in a Burglary of a Restaurant [300 b/o Eastern Ave, NE]

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Sixth District seek a man who burglarized a restaurant in the 300 block of Eastern Avenue, Northeast.

On Sunday, October 8, 2023, at approximately 4:00 a.m., the suspect forced open a metal door and entered a restaurant. The suspect took a bottled drink then fled the scene.  

The suspect was captured by surveillance cameras and can be seen in this video:

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a crime committed in the District of Columbia.
