MPD 6D | Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) Offense: 2300 b/o Pennsylvania Ave, SE

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Sixth District announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Monday, February 7, 2022, in the 2300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Southeast.
At approximately 3:57 pm, members of the Sixth District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a juvenile male suffering from gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
On Tuesday, February 8, 2022, a 14 year-old juvenile female, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
