MPD 6D | Arrest Made in an Armed Robbery (Gun) Offense: 200 Block of 51st Street, NE

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Sixth District announced an arrest has been made in an Armed Robbery (Gun) offense that occurred on Thursday, March 4, 2021, in the 200 block of 51st Street, Northeast. 

At approximately 5:51 pm, the suspects approached the victim at the listed location. One of the suspects brandished a handgun and demanded property from the victim. The suspects took property from the victim and fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle. The vehicle has been recovered.  

On Thursday, March 4, 2021, a 16-year-old juvenile male, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Armed Robbery (Gun).

This case remains under investigation.
