MPD 5D | Arrests Made in a Homicide: 1300 b/o Brentwood Road, NE

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch announce arrests have been made in reference to a homicide that occurred on Friday, July 2, 2021, in the 1300 block of Brentwood Road, Northeast.
At approximately 8:41 pm, members of the Fifth District responded to the listed location for the report of the sounds of gunshots. Upon arrival, members located an adult male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. DC Fire and EMS responded to the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment. After all life-saving efforts failed, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
The decedent has been identified as 21-year-old Rosendo Miller, of Northwest, DC.
On Friday, July 2, 2021, 21-year-old Mark Fletcher, of Northwest, DC, 21-year-old Malik Bynum, of Southeast, DC, and 20-year-old Larry White, of Northeast, DC, were arrested and charged with Felony Murder.
This case remains under investigation. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for each homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
