May 9 | Volunteers needed for Joyful Food Markets @ Excel Academy & Friendship Charter

Hello Community -- 

As you know, Martha's Table hosts their popular Joyful Food Markets at several schools east of the river. These markets fill a huge need by providing free fresh produce and groceries to students and their families. It takes a lot of hands (and hearts) to make these markets possible. 

Martha's Table is requesting community volunteers to donate a few hours of their time to assist with the success of these markets. I've been a volunteer and it was an amazing experience! I highly recommend it; both as an individual or a group -- you can even coordinate an office volunteer project!

There are two markets this Wednesday, May 9th, one at Excel Academy (2501 Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave SE) and the other at Friendship Charter (645 Milwaukee Place, SE).  Prospective volunteers should click the button below to signup and complete the volunteer waiver.
