Our MahoganyBooks Masterclasses are back, and we invite you to a special one featuring Hurston/Wright Legacy Award winner Zelda Lockhart. She'll teach a community workshop on connection and healing through our stories, stories we must tell & never lose. After the teaching portion, Zelda will read a special excerpt preview from her upcoming book Trinity, which releases on July 4, 2023. Zelda will be joined by Prince George’s County, MD Poet Laureate & executive director of the Hurston/Wright Foundation, Khadijah Ali-Coleman, for a special Q&A portion following the reading.

7:30 PM-7:45 PM -- Reading from Trinity
7:45-8 PM -- Q&A portion w/ Khadijah Ali-Coleman
