THIS SUMMER: Martha's Table offering FREE cooking classes for kids and adults !

Martha's Table, the well-known DC nonprofit is moving to Ward 8 this month! To celebrate, they are hosting over 14 different types of event, well over 50 events in their new headquarters, The Commons (2375 Elvans Rd SE).

The goal of the community events and workshops are not just to provide the community with high quality programming, but to also provide an opportunity for ward 7 and 8 residents to give honest and direct feedback about what type of programs and services they would like to see offered in the community.

I am including a brief lineup of the Martha's Table summer programs below. Please check them out, spread the word, signup and attend! Let's take advantage of every opportunity to have a great (and informative) time in our own community.
