Marketing Internships with AAAED - $500/month

The American Association for Access, Equity and Diversity (AAAED) offers internship/fellowship experiences designed to give undergraduate and graduate students interested in social justice and equal opportunity substantive introductions to public policy, EEO and Diversity Compliance practice and nonprofit management. We are seeking Marketing majors for the launch of our Marketing, Re-branding and Recruitment Initiative. Successful candidates will be able to start immediately.

General areas of work include equal employment and equal education compliance (including Title IX), diversity and inclusion, affirmative action, civil rights, EEO law, nonprofit development, government relations, human resources, web communications, event management, public affairs and public service. Undergraduates are considered AAAED Interns. Graduate students are AAAED Social Policy Fellows. 

Among the skills that AAAED seeking to promote its brand and to recruit new members/participants, are: advertising and promotion, marketing communications, public relations, market research, consumer behavior, marketing strategy, management and sales.

AAAED interns and fellows work out of our office in downtown Washington, D.C., easily accessible by Metro or several bus lines. Internships are for a length of one school semester or the summer. Start and end dates are flexible to accommodate school schedules and we require a 15-20-hour minimum weekly commitment. There is a monthly stipend of $500.00.

Fall 2019: October 10 to December 31, 2019. 

Spring 2020: January 6 to May 29 2020. Application Deadline December 20, 2019.
