March 18 | Ward 8 Democrats presents Women's History Month Speaker Series

“Join us virtually for our annual Women's History Month lecture series: Who Inspires You? This year's speakers are Akosua Ali, president of the DC chapter of the NAACP, and Meedie Bardonille, RN, chair of the DC Board of Nursing and founder and president of the Black Nurse Collaborative. President Ali will discuss the ongoing fight for social justice and civil rights as the leader of the DC chapter of NAACP, while Chair Bardonille will speak on the condition of the District's healthcare system and the ongoing fight to end health disparities in our community.
