Cagedbirds Productions affirms the black, LGBTQ+ lived experience on screen and on stage. Through storytelling, we build community and spark conversations about public health issues that affect our people. We’re most known for our hit plays, ‘When Boys Exhale,’ 'Run Dat Stunt,' and 'GAY Love Jones' which have been performed in DC, Nashville, Atlanta and Houston.
SYNOPSIS
A story about the people who feed our soul and the recipe that makes us a family. Follow the Joseph family for a year of holidays, weddings, funerals and reunions. Each gathering brings laughter and joy but also... secrets and betrayals. Will the family point fingers at each other or come together like a fist, to strike a blow?
