Savings Match & Debt Reduction Program - Gives Up to $1,350

Manna, Inc.’s new Savings Match & Debt Reduction Program, designed to empower low- to moderate-income residents in Prince George’s County, MD, and all Wards of Washington, D.C., to build savings, reduce debt, and take steps toward homeownership or sustaining their current homes.

This six-month program offers:

  • Up to $1,350 in matched savings to help build your financial foundation.

  • Up to $1,350 in matched debt reduction payments to quickly help reduce your debt load.

  • Monthly financial check-ins with a HUD-certified Housing Counselor.

  • (3) Financial Capabilities courses to equip you with essential financial skills.

Key Dates:

  • Program Duration: November 4, 2024 – May 31, 2025

  • Sign-up Deadline: November 24, 2024

How It Works:

  1. Contact a Manna HOC team member to register.

  2. Open a savings account and start making monthly deposits and/or make monthly debt reduction payments.

  3. Attend (3) Financial Capabilities courses within six months.

  4. Check in monthly with your Manna Housing Counselor.

  5. Upon completion, receive a match up to $1,350!
