June 18 | ANC 8A Special Meeting about Public Safety in Anacostia

Advisory Neighborhood Commission 8A is convening a special public meeting to hear from residents of the ANC 8A community on proposed community public safety and police reforms currently before the DC Council and the Mayor. The special meeting will take place Thursday, June 18, 2020, at 6:30 pm (Please note the earlier start time for this meeting).

The Commission's goal is to hear directly from residents to gather recommendations on police reforms but more broadly, policy ideas that could enhance public safety in our community. We will capture these ideas and elevate them to the upper levels of District government. This meeting will be recorded and transcribed.
