Join DME for a community conversation to learn more about the District's vision, strategies, and investments to improve attendance outcomes.
Deputy Mayor Kihn will share the District's vision, strategies, and investments to improve attendance outcomes and reduce chronic absenteeism, then moderate a panel discussion with education leaders and students. Members of the public will be invited to share their feedback and ask questions.
DME has partnered with EveryDay Labs to offer schools with free, intervention-based service to reduce absenteeism. EveryDay Labs will discuss their services that provide students, families, and school leaders with a seamless, evidence-based strategy for engaging families as partners in attendance improvement.
