JOB ALERT | Positively Safe Specialist (Temp) - $70,000+/year

The National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV) seeks a highly organized temporary Specialist for its Positively Safety Team. This position reports to the Positively Safe Deputy Director. The position will provide technical assistance and training on domestic violence and HIV/AIDS to organizations working with victims and people living with HIV and other conditions that affect a wide range of health risks and outcomes, in partnership with an organization in Rwanda. This is a great opportunity for a committed team player to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This is a temporary position that will end on March 31, 2024, with a possibility of an extension if renewal funding is secured.

The Positively Safety team implements NNEDV’s programmatic initiatives and works to build the capacity and effectiveness of domestic violence and HIV/AIDS organizations. The ideal candidate is highly dedicated and resourceful, committed to creating positive social change, and passionate about ending domestic violence for all survivors.

This position offers a flexible and collegial working environment in our offices on Thomas Circle in downtown Washington, DC, near McPherson Square Metro. Because of COVID-19 precautions, currently, NNEDV is in a voluntary work from home status; however, a DC-based employee will ultimately work out of our offices

This role will require three international trips over a 12- to 16-month period plus the possibility of domestic travel.
