The Peer Outreach Specialist has the unique role of using their lived experience to establish therapeutic relationships, provide recovery services, self-management education, and create interventions to promote wellness and recovery to clients, including addressing chronic medical and behavioral health conditions,
Approximately 75% of time will be spent in the community, directly providing outreach services to individuals experiencing homelessness. Shift schedules will generally include hours between 8am-7pm, Monday through Friday, but schedules will be flexible to accommodate the needs of the community. Successful candidates are committed to ending homelessness and have a fundamental belief that hope and recovery are always possible.
