JOB ALERT | Part-Time Program Coordinator - $17/hour
Everybody Wins DC seeks qualified candidates to serve as part-time Program Coordinators for the 2022-23 program year. The position is responsible for day-to-day operations of Power Readers, a mentoring program that connects students and volunteers to read together for one hour a week. Primary duties include school/service site communications, student/family recruitment, organizing session schedules, and managing session logistics. Program Coordinators may also support other EWDC programs, including Storytime and The Book Project.
For the 2022-23 program year, Program Coordinators will support a combination of in-person and virtual responsibilities, with each Program Coordinator managing at least one in-person session per week at a Power Readers delivery site. In addition, Program Coordinators may be asked to support in-person activities at the EWDC administrative office located in Washington, DC and at program and event sites across the DC region.
The Program Coordinator position is a seasonal, part-time position and reports to the Lead Program Manager. The wage for the Program Coordinator position is $17 per hour. Successful completion of a background check and drug test is required as a condition of employment. Proof of COVID-19 vaccine is required for in-person work at schools and other service sites. The employment term for the Program Coordinator will begin with 1-2 days of in-person training (tentatively scheduled for the week prior to Labor Day) and run through early June 2022. Weekly schedules for Power Coordinators will vary between 10-20 hours per week based on candidate availability and program need. General hours of Power Readers operation are as follows:
Monday – Friday, 10AM – 2PM (Program Coordinators in-person at service sites)
Monday – Friday, 4PM – 6PM (Program Coordinators work remotely OR at in-person service sites)
