JOB ALERT | Part-time Advocate - $27,000/year

DRDC is seeking to hire a 21-hour-a-week entry level advocate.  This advocate will represent children and adults with disabilities seeking quality community-based services and supports, prepare training materials and reports, and monitor and conduct trainings in institutions, schools and in the community to educate people with disabilities about their rights, the services available, and inclusion.  

QUALIFICATIONS:

·        Required:  Graduate of college and ability to start the position as soon as possible  

·        Required:  Strong oral and written communication skills

·        Required:  Demonstrated commitment to public interest work and/or disability rights

·        Preferred:  Experience working with people with disabilities
