JOB ALERT | Marketing and Communications Manager - $65K to $72k/year

The Alliance for Health Policy (“Alliance”) is hiring for a Marketing and Communications Manager to manage its daily marketing and communications, reporting to and working with the Vice President of Development and Engagement. The Alliance is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization dedicated to helping policymakers and the public better understand health policy, the root of the nation’s health care issues, and the trade-offs posed by various proposals for change.

Candidates must have experience developing and executing marketing and communications strategies and a broad understanding of the health care system and policy issues. The ideal candidate will have experience managing marketing and communications activities in both the nonprofit and health care contexts. This team member will promote and expand the Alliance’s reach and impact. The role will be primarily responsible for executing marketing and communications strategy and activities, implementation of the Alliance’s digital communications (including email marketing, website content, social media, and targeted messaging to key audiences), and promoting the Alliance’s programming and content.

This is a full-time position in Washington, D.C., with a minimum of 2 days of in-office work expected in our hybrid arrangement. Exceptional candidates outside the greater Washington DC area may be considered in a remote capacity; please specify on your application if your application is contingent on a remote work arrangement. Periodic travel is required for remote employees.
