JOB ALERT | FT Social Media Campaigner - $55k to $60k
The Social Media Campaigner leads our social media and online advertising campaigns. This is an opportunity to work for an organization on the frontlines of the fight to advance a long-term agenda for a new economy and inclusive democracy.
Overview of the Position
The primary function of the Social Media Campaigner is to grow our digital membership with a robust and engaging social media and ad program. The Social Media Campaigner will also collaborate with internal partners to grow a digital constituency that is primed to take action and move from protest to power across the country.
What you will do:
Create social media content, drawing on resources from the broader communications department and the organization, that expresses the culture and position of the organization on issues we care about, especially our key campaigns:
Health Care for All,
People and Planet First,
Housing Justice,
Overdose Crisis.
Manage robust digital ads program, with a heavy emphasis on Facebook ads.
Regularly report key performance indicators across the organization.
Create supporting HTML pages for digital campaigns.
Evaluate the success of social media and online ad content and strategies to maximize participation in our programs.
Work with and support our national network of state-based organizations as they develop their digital plans and communications.
