In Pictures | Martha's Table Grand Opening @ The Commons

Talk about a community celebration! This past Saturday over 1300 community members came out to mark the opening of Ward 8's newest community resource, The Commons. Home to Martha's Table and Community of Hope, this new facility will provide Ward 7 and 8 children, adults and families access to many new (and improved) community services. 

Martha's Table is based on providing three types of resources: food access, community support and early childhood education. Learn more about their programs HERE. 

Also, their new lobby market opens today and runs Monday - Friday, 11am - 4pm. Free fresh veggies, fruit and grocery staples. Limit of one visit per month per person. 

And more good news! Martha's Table free summer programming beings today! Check out the full lineup of programs, events and services for kids, teens, adults, seniors and families! Trips to the grocery store, yoga for kids, game night and parents cafe meetings. Let's come together for community in the community.  Daily tours now available for their new space. Stop by!
