Homicide: 3000 Block of Rodman Street, NW

(Washington, DC) – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a homicide that occurred on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, in the 3000 block of Rodman Street, Northwest.
At approximately 2:49 am, DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the listed location for the report of an unconscious person. Upon arrival, DC FEMS members located an unconscious adult male, in the hallway of a residential building, suffering from an apparent stab wound. DC FEMS members transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment. After all life-saving efforts failed, the victim was pronounced dead.
The decedent has been identified as 59 year-old Daniel McKinney of Northwest, DC.
The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for each homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
