MARTHA’S TABLE LAUNCHES NATIONAL SEARCH TO FIND NEXT CEO

WASHINGTON (November 19, 2018) — The Board of Directors of Martha’s Table is conducting a national search to fill the position of President and Chief Executive Officer to lead the D.C.-based organization committed to strong children, strong families, and strong communities.

After six years leading the organization, Patty Stonesifer recently announced her plans to retire in the summer of 2019. The Board of Directors is partnering with Diversified Search, a leading executive search firm committed to equity and inclusion, to assist in identifying experienced candidates with a proven track record in nonprofit leadership, development, and community engagement.

“We are enthusiastic to begin this search for our new CEO, who will lead efforts as we enter the next chapter in our place-based work,” said Ellis Carr, Board Chair of Martha’s Table.

The position description, including ideal candidate characteristics and competencies, was developed with input from Martha’s Table staff, partners and members of the Board.
