SWIM

DC is ranked in the top five of cities nationwide when it comes to pool access per 100,000 residents. This means that no matter which ward you call home, DPR has a pool for you and your family, just minutes away from your front door.

Whether you're interested in swim lessons or just a way too cool off on a hot summer day, DPR has got you covered.

SKATE

Anacostia Skate Pavillion inside of Anacostia Park. Skate rentals are free! And on summer weekends you can dance to DJ music as you enjoy this open air roller rink. This is the one and only roller skating rink in the National Park Service!

Season:
Free skate rentals are available seven days a week from June 17th to Labor Day

Hours:
9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Rates:
Roller skates are free to check out with a valid I.D. Call (202) 472-3884 for availability.

Historic House
The historic house is open only at scheduled times for guided tours. Rangers guide tours every day, except for January 1, Thanksgiving, and December 25. Reservations are strongly encouraged.


Visitor Center and Grounds
The visitor center and grounds are open daily, except for January 1, Thanksgiving, and December 25. Hours vary by season:

April 1 through October 31 - 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
November 1 through March 31 - 9:00 am to 4:30 pm
