First Transit seeks Full-Time Vehicle Operators

Greetings Jobseekers! First Transit of Capitol Heights which operates under contract with WMATA is hiring Full-Time vehicle operators that transport citizens living in the DC/MD/VA area that are elderly or living with a disability.

We host open interviews every Tuesday from 9am - 6pm. We're excited to extend this amazing career opportunity to those seeking a rewarding career in transportation. No previous experience needed.

However, you must meet the minimum qualifications of the position:

Have good verbal communication skills

Are at least 21 years old

Have held a valid driver’s license for at least 5 years - This requirement is not to include the time you have held a learner's permit or provisional license.

Are willing to work long hours and shifts of up to 12 hours.

Must be in possession of a valid District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia driver's license at the time of application.

No other out of state license will be accepted.
