The Printer Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of thermal, laser and impact printers and/or FHE (Forms Handling Equipment). This candidate will be expected to demonstrate professional and proactive customer service skills.
This is a driving position which requires a DMV background check to be completed
Use of reliable, personal vehicle required - miles reimbursed according to company policy and car stipend for automobiles under 6 years
Essential Functions:
Installs, maintains, and repairs thermal, laser, and impact printers and/or FHE
Repairs and corrects malfunctions as necessary
Prepares detailed service and failure records
Trains customers on products
Responds to emergency repair calls as needed
Communicates promptly and accurately all information required by internal support functions
Provides a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring that repairs are done properly and in a timely manner
Responsible for understanding customers' business and the use of the products and peak services in connection with customer business
Identifies leads
On-call participation required
