The Printer Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of thermal, laser and impact printers and/or FHE (Forms Handling Equipment). This candidate will be expected to demonstrate professional and proactive customer service skills.

  • This is a driving position which requires a DMV background check to be completed

  • Use of reliable, personal vehicle required - miles reimbursed according to company policy and car stipend for automobiles under 6 years

Essential Functions:

  • Installs, maintains, and repairs thermal, laser, and impact printers and/or FHE

  • Repairs and corrects malfunctions as necessary

  • Prepares detailed service and failure records

  • Trains customers on products

  • Responds to emergency repair calls as needed

  • Communicates promptly and accurately all information required by internal support functions

  • Provides a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring that repairs are done properly and in a timely manner

  • Responsible for understanding customers' business and the use of the products and peak services in connection with customer business

  • Identifies leads

  • On-call participation required
