Everlasting Life of Anacostia

[Washington, DC] In a rapidly changing city, the communities East of the Anacostia River continue to dictate their own future by any means necessary. As artist and advocates gather to make the city pay attention to the needs of the creative community, so too is the Anacostia Arts Center on the forefront of decision making for the community. 

Over the past five years, the Center has provided a home for a rotation of food vendors and caterers to test their abilities and work out the kinks as grounded businesses; with a variety of cuisines ranging from Soul Food to French Bistro. Based on popularity of the mid-summer vegan pop-up, decision makers sought out a business which could meet the needs of the community, with a name that was familiar to the DMV area. Everlasting Life fit the gap.

On December 1, 2018 E Life opened its doors inside the Anacostia Arts Center. Owner Dr. Baruch and his team spent over a month remodeling the space to fit the needs of his crew and cuisine. This will be the fourth location in the DC and Maryland area providing vegan soul food for a healthier lifestyle. E Life is located inside the Anacostia Arts Center 1231 Good Hope Road SE Washington DC 20020. Hours of operation are: Tuesday through Sunday from 11am – 5pm.

About Anacostia Arts Center

Anacostia Arts Center is a project of the ARCH Development Corporation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a home for small businesses, artists, arts and cultural organizations to fulfill its commitment to the sustainable economic development of Historic Anacostia. The 9,300-square ft. arts center opened in June of 2013 and includes, a Black Box theatre, two clothing boutiques, a physical therapy studio, an artist exchange and book store.
