Equivity seeks PT Help Desk Technician (Remote)
Equivity is looking for a Help Desk Technician to assist our business internally on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have experience providing IT support for companies with a virtual workforce. We're looking for somebody who can provide both day-to-day support in Office 365 and other programs for our employees, as well as provide systems administration help.
We are a virtual assistant company, providing administrative, marketing, and paralegal support to clients across the United States. Our employees work out of their home and require help desk support. Your role would be to support the employees of Equivity with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues surrounding software, compatibility, hardware, and general computer questions via phone calls and/or screen-share on both MacOS and Windows-based platforms. You would also work directly with management to implement company-wide systems administration, software implementation, and advise on technological issues generally. The ideal candidate for this role will have 5 years or more of experience as a Help Desk Support Technician or IT Support Technician and will have experience working virtually supporting a virtual team. Experience as an Office 365 Systems Administrator is required. Candidates must also have experience with both Windows and Mac systems and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Candidates with experience across a wide variety of software applications, such as Adobe Suite, Zoho Connect, and Active Campaign are preferred. Experience troubleshooting hardware issues remotely would also be a plus. You should also be self-directed, able to work independently, but must also skilled at working in a team environment.
