About the Economic Analysis and Research Network (EARN): EARN is a nationwide network of state-based research, policy, and advocacy organizations advancing an inclusive, worker-centered economy through state and local policy change and rigorous research. We are the progressive economic policy and research infrastructure in the states, conducting research, providing data analysis, and developing and advocating policies that confront the fundamental imbalances in the workplace in order to create an economy that works for all of us, not just the wealthy. A core part of the Economic Policy Institute (EPI), EARN is a growing network of 55 research, policy, and advocacy organizations in 43 states around the country and the District of Columbia. The EARN network is coordinated by staff at the Economic Policy Institute and EARN partners.

The Economic Policy Institute (EPI) seeks a dynamic and skilled professional to join our Economic Analysis and Research (EARN) team as an executive assistant. The assistant will coordinate and manage the administrative work of the EARN Director and support the EARN team in day-to-day activities. Ability to handle confidential material and information with utmost discretion is required. The ideal candidate will be resourceful and able to prioritize multiple tasks, including schedule, travel and event logistics planning, meeting coordination, and drafting and formatting high quality documents in a professional and organized manner. A keen eye for detail and accuracy is essential. He/she should have at least five years’ experience in a high-level secretarial or administrative role with a solid understanding of computer and software technology and office equipment. While this position is located in Washington, D.C., the EPI staff currently are working remotely for an indefinite period during the pandemic.
