DCRA seeks Contact Representative - $48k to $62k
This position is located in the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs. The incumbent in this position will be responsible for navigating customers face-to-face in a medium to high volume reception area.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The incumbent will receive customers for multiple agency divisions. Welcoming their visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering, forwarding, and screening phone calls. Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring logbook; issuing visitor badges. Receives, sorts, and distributes daily mail. Maintains the scheduling and preparation for meeting rooms. Performs various administrative task. Provides excellent customer service using verbal and written communications skills to maintain a professional and welcoming environment for customer and staff.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION
Applicants must possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level.
