DC Public Library seeks Adult Digital Literacy Coordinator - $82k to $105k

The DC Public Library system compromises 26 locations, including the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library, which is the downtown central library. The Adult Services Department, a public service unit within the Martin Luther King Jr. Library, provides resources for adult District residents. 

This position is located in the Adult Learning Department (ALD) of the District of Columbia Public Library (DCPL). The Department is responsible for designing, implementing, and administering the library's basic and digital literacy components of the Library’s Strategic Plan, i.e., Reading and Digital Citizenship. As Adult Digital Literacy Coordinator in the ALD, the incumbent is principally responsible for developing basic digital literacy pathways, procedures and subject matter guides for adult learners to navigate into digital literacy training and skill-building offered by the ALD.  The incumbent will assist the Assistant Manager and the Manager of the ALD in expanding the digital literacy component of the department to other locations within the Library system.
