DC Bar seeks Content Producer - $67k to $75k

1. Performs a variety of reporting, writing and editing assignments on topics of interest to Bar members and to the global legal community.

2. Develops communications that reflect and meet the Bar’s strategic objectives, evaluates the value of news and media announcements to the membership, and provides recommendations on the distribution of information through various platforms.

3. Writes scripts, conducts off-camera interviews, and assists in the development of multimedia content.

4. Handles special writing assignments such as the Bar’s Annual Report, internal reports, and white papers for dissemination to the membership and to the D.C. Courts.

5. Collaborates with internal teams to develop and maintain print and digital content for magazine, website, white papers, marketing campaigns, blogs, social media posts, video scripts and all other Bar communications. Edits materials for grammatical, spelling and factual accuracy.

6. Determines photographic needs, schedules photographers and/or takes photographs for publication.

7. Performs other duties as assigned.
