CommonLit seeks Digital Library Associate (Temp) - $20/hour

CommonLit is a nonprofit edtech startup dedicated to providing high-quality literacy instruction to low-income students and students of color to prepare them for success in college and careers. We operate a free online reading program for grades 3-12, www.CommonLit.org, that is used by over 15 million teachers and students. We are looking for a Digital Library Associate (Contractor) who is excited to work for a fast-paced tech startup. The ideal candidate would need to demonstrate flexibility and be willing to work an average of 6-10 hours per week. In this role, the Digital Library Associate will support our digital library to help deliver high-priority projects. This will include data entry, copy editing, and creating the unit pages that teachers interact with on CommonLit.org. We are looking for a candidate with excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage work flows for multiple projects with diverse deadlines. This ideal candidate would have some background in data entry and strong time-management skills. Fluency in Spanish would be helpful, but is not essential for this role. This is a contract position involving work that would continue through 2021 for a minimum of 8 months. When you apply, please send a cover letter and resume.
