Color Of Change PAC helps people respond effectively to injustice in the world by ensuring that Black issues are addressed by candidates looking to win with our community’s votes. As a national, Black Super PAC we push candidates to create a more human and less hostile world for Black people, and all people by going on the record about the policies they’ll support if elected and showcasing our volunteer capacity to boost or cripple their political aspirations.

In 2016 we launched an offline digital engagement program that attracted thousands of volunteers and had multiple entry points of engagement.  Over the last four years, the program has grown tremendously.  Creating a first-class experience for our members is central to our organizing strategy. We’ve learned the secret to generating voter turnout is to create an environment of Black joy – an experience with Black people at its center that treats each member as a leader, a strategist, and a vital part of the community.

Black people want to share meaningful experiences with other Black people, especially in the current political climate. We’re creating the volunteer experience to harness this untapped energy and respond to the challenges we face.  As a people, we are uniquely designed to innovate and collaborate.  We’ve lived through challenges and celebrated triumphs.  Our program is an iterative experience shaped by our values and collective brilliance. In the face of coronavirus and increased voter suppression tactics, we’ll engage 80,000 members of Color Of Change to participate in at least one voter contact action between now and November.

As the Director of Member Programming, you will be an important leader in the mobilization of Black member leaders in key geographies.  You will manage a team that creates a curriculum for our comprehensive field program that identifies, recruits, and develops Color Of Change PAC members across the country to win using digital technology, engagement organizing principles, and authentic Black joy experiences. You’ll work closely with the  National Field Director and the Senior Engagement Manager in a cross-departmental structure.  Your primary role will be to manage a team of curriculum leaders and event managers to build capacity for the field team.  Your role is critical to the success of the program and will report to the Sr. Deputy Political Director.
