College Track seeks Part-Time Math Interventionist - $18 to $20/hour

Hours: 20 - 25 hours per week

The Math Interventionist is a critical member of the Academic Affairs team.  This person is responsible for designing and delivering direct math instruction in a tutoring context, using pertinent data to determine students’ gaps in mathematical knowledge.  Using various means of explanation and instruction aligned with the individual needs of each student, the Math Interventionist will lead two math classes Monday through Thursday. These classes will help students progress towards the district’s math content standards. The ultimate goals of the Math Interventionist are to help College Track students see themselves as able to excel in this subject and to ensure that all College Track students are able to maximize their potential. The Math Interventionist will collaborate with the Academic Affairs Director and Academic Coaches to implement programming that meet the math needs of each student.
