Byte Back seeks IT Manager - $62k to $70k
The IT Manager will join the growing team of Byte Back – a dynamic nonprofit providing innovative tech training that has earned national attention and support.
The IT Manager is a mission-driven, strategic, organized, and experienced IT professional who excels at thinking systematically, enjoys troubleshooting issues large and small, and is excited to help others learn IT. The IT Manager will lead IT for Byte Back, including providing “help-desk” support, setting the IT strategy, and training staff on key hardware and software. The IT Manager will also serve as lead IT support for Byte Back’s students, overseeing our equipment loaner program and designing hands-on instruction opportunities for select Byte Back participants.
Due to Covid-19, most of Byte Back’s employees are working remotely. The IT Manager’s time will be split between remote and in-person work. It will regularly be necessary for the IT Manager to go into Byte Back’s DC and Baltimore sites to work on network, hardware, and other IT needs. The IT Manager must be willing and able to travel to both DC and Baltimore. Both sites have extensive health and safety protocols in place.
