Arrests Made in Firearm Trafficking Offenses

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s NIBIN Investigations Unit, which includes members of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), announce arrests have been made in reference to Firearm Trafficking offenses.
As a result of an investigation into the straw purchases of firearms, it was determined that three suspects conspired to make false statements in relation to the purchase of a firearm, knowingly made false statements in relation to the purchase of a firearm and transferred the firearm to another without a license on multiple occasions. This investigation was the result of an illegal firearm that was recovered in the District of Columbia.
On Thursday, August 26, 2021, pursuant to a United States District Court arrest warrant, 22 year-old Daquan Teamer, of Southeast, DC, 24 year-old Bryanna Williams, of Arlington, VA, and 28 year old Ige Wilson, of Arlington, VA, were arrested and charged with Knowingly Making a False Statement in Relation to the Purchase of a Firearm and Transfer of a Firearm to Another Person Without a License.
