Arrest Made in an Armed Carjacking (Gun) Offense: 2500 b/o Pennsylvania Avenue, SE

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Armed Carjacking (Gun) offense that occurred on Saturday, January 16, 2021, in the 2500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Southeast. 

At approximately 10:00 am, the suspects were passengers in the victim’s vehicle at the listed location. The suspects brandished handguns and demanded the victim’s vehicle. The victim complied and the suspects fled in the vehicle. The vehicle has been recovered. 

On Tuesday, February 2, 2021, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 23-year-old James Green, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Armed Carjacking (Gun).
