Join Project Create on Saturday, April 23rd from 1:00 to 3:00 PM for our live and in-person Family Art Day at the Project Create Arts Center (2208 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE).

During this Family Art Day, Artist Imani Shanklin Roberts will lead families in a collective art-making experience. Like a professional orchestra, families will use their brushes to create something beautifully harmonious. The mural will be process-oriented and alive as the time together expands. Families are welcome to wear clothes that can get painterly and a mind ready to explore synergistic art-making. In this two-hour Family Art Day workshop, family and friend groups will collaborate to create a one-of-a-kind mural.

As always, Project Create programs are free and open to the public. Please note that, due to COVID-19 social distancing requirements, each session will be limited to 10 families and registration is required. For the safety of all participants, face masks are required at all times during the workshop.
