And we are back! Well, mostly.
Hello Dear Readers,
As you know, Congress Heights on the Rise went offline a bit. I came down with a nasty respiratory infection, luckily not Covid, but I was struggling a bit. Hence, I had to put publishing CHotR on hold. I'm not 100% recovered, but I have enough to resume posting, and I know I have much to make up for. So be prepared for a super-sized helping of east of the river news you can use.
Also, I've noticed some layout issues with the Daily Digest email. I've been trying to untangle the issue on the backend, and since I hate how it looks, I've put the e-blast on hold until I can work it out. I suspect it has something to do with the integration of my website's publishing platform having a problem with my newsletter platform. They have worked well together for years; of course, they choose now to have a "spat."
So, until I can resolve the layout issues with the e-newsletter, you can still see CHotR posts here on the website and on Facebook. The new owner of Twitter (I am not wasting my time calling it "X") has long deactivated the ability for most third-party publishers to post automatically on Twitter.
Have a great day, and get back to wearing a mask! I sure am!
xoxoxo
