AnBryce Foundation seeks Saturday Institute Enrichment Instructor - $15 to $18/hour
The AnBryce Foundation provides multiple settings for underserved youth to become confident thinkers by providing an environment that stimulates the curiosity for learning and self-discovery. Through long-term academic and leadership enrichment that equips them to excel in school, in relationships, in facing challenges, while having fun, the AnBryce Foundation instills in each youth the confidence to become successful socially, emotionally and academically to prepare them to play an active role in improving their communities and the world.
The AnBryce Foundation is seeking a highly-motivated person to serve as a part-time seasonal Saturday Institute Enrichment Instructor to area elementary and middle students for program located in Southeast, Washington D.C. to support our Saturday Institute program for the 2019-2020 academic year.
Saturday Institute is a blended learning model with both on-site meetings and virtual meetings. All onsite meetings are held in Southeast Washington, D.C. and are metro accessible.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with organizing and operating Saturday Academic Enrichment Program for Elementary and Middle School students in grades 1st – 8th.
Schedule would be approximately as follows:
Saturdays, 8:00am-1:00pm ten (10) meetings (November 2019 – April 2020) (Onsite)
Saturdays, 9:00am-1:00pm ten (10) meetings
TBD, Weekly 30 Minute Check In via Zoom meetings (Virtual)
Weekly planning time between 2 hours per week (Remote)
Track progress for all participants via weekly progress notes
Log and tracks attendance
Chaperone students on enrichment and field trips
Act as a tutor/college and career coach, providing support for participants and communicating with other coaches and parents.
