🌟Free Afterschool Meals for DC Youth East of the River and Beyond [SP]

Mayor Muriel Bowser and DC Department of Parks and Recreation is offering free afterschool meals now through the fall to District youth ages 18 and younger. 

Afterschool meals are available Monday - Friday, from 4 pm - 5 pm, to residents 18 years and younger. No ID or application necessary. Afterschool meals are available at 18 sites across DC and the following ten sites in Ward 7 and 8.

  • Fort Davis Rec Center (1400 41st St SE)

  • Hillcrest Rec Center (3100 Denver St SE)

  • Kenilworth Rec Center (4321 Ord St NE)

  • Marvin Gaye Rec Center (15 61 St NE)

  • Bald Eagle Rec Center (100 Joliet St SW)

  • Barry Farm Rec Center (1230 Sumner RD SE)

  • Fort Stanton Rec Center (1812 Erie St SE)

  • Southeast Tennis And Learning Center (701 Mississippi Ave SE) *4 pm - 5:15 pm
