Accelerate Change seeks Full-Time Digital Editor (Temporary) - $23 to $25/hour

Accelerate Change is seeking a Digital Editor (Temporary) to support our team’s content development over the coming months.

Here’s what you could expect to do as a Digital Editor (Temporary):

  • Give feedback on story pitches, proofread, fact check, and ensure a consistent voice for digital media content on: Facebook ads, Facebook posts, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, podcast scripts, and/or other digital platforms

  • Provide content creators with coaching, feedback, and clarity on priorities and deadlines

  • Identify patterns in what is making content work with the audiences we’re creating it for, and help content creators incorporate those insights into their work

  • Aggregate relevant content and review industry trends and updates 

  • Take on other content responsibilities and projects as needed

What We're Looking For

  • Commitment to social justice

  • 3+ years of experience editing digital content, ideally content on Facebook ads, Facebook Messenger, and/or Instagram

  • Obsessed with error-free work

This is a temporary staff role through mid-November 2020. The hours commitment is 40 hours per week during regular business hours (9am-5pm local time, Monday-Friday).
