14-Year-Old Boy Arrested for Armed Carjacking Offenses

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Carjacking Task Force announce a teenager has been arrested for three Armed Carjacking offenses that occurred in the Fourth District.
In each of the below offenses, the suspects were passengers in a ride-share vehicle at the listed location. During the ride, the suspects displayed a firearm and demanded the victim’s vehicle. The victim complied. The suspects fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle. All the vehicles have been recovered.
On Sunday, January 14, 2024, at approximately 1:20 a.m. in the 6300 block of 5th Street, Northwest CCN 24006825
On Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at approximately 2:45 a.m. in the 700 block of Madison Street, Northwest. CCN24007702
On Saturday, February 3, 2024, at approximately 8:47 p.m. the 700 block of Madison Street, Northwest. CCN 24017534
On Thursday, February 15, 2024, pursuant to a DC Superior Court custody order, a 14-year-old juvenile male of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with the above offenses.
