Oct 18 | Little Salon comes to Congress Heights! Yippee!!!

 This little salon is in my own neighborhood! Come see the great street where I live! 

Little Salon comes to Congress Heights on Tuesday, October 18 and we’re bringing a bevy of creativity with us, including old-school Americana tunes by Ballad’ve, fiction by Devin Symons, poetry by John Johnson, seasonal soup samples by Jennifer M. Jones, and a projection art installation by Kylos Brannon.

Doors open at 7pm with projection art, soups, and socializing. Performances begin promptly at 8pm.  

This all takes place at a home in Congress Heights (443 Oakwood Street SE), not far from the Malcolm X Avenue SE exit off of I-295. Driving’s the easiest way to make your way to this salon — and there’s plenty of street parking nearby. If you take the Metro, hop off at either the Congress Heights Station (one mile away) or the Anacostia Station (1.5 miles away) and grab an Uber from there. 

As always, Little Salon is BYOB. We’ll have ice buckets to keep those beverages cool, corkscrews to guarantee no bottle goes unopened, and plastic wine glasses to ensure we can all keep it semi-classy.

We'll issue a strict limit of 40 tickets for this salon. We really appreciate your contribution of $20 (plus a small service fee from Eventbrite) at the time you snag your ticket — this lets us provide the performers with honorariums and keep the lights at Little Salon burning bright.

Please note that we cannot offer refunds on tickets. If you find that you can't make it, feel free to post your tix on our Facebook page or to offer them to friends. If you do sell or gift your tix, please just shoot us the name(s) of the new owner so we can update our registration list. If waitlist tickets are released, this typically occurs at the host's discretion. 

No need to print the tickets — we’ll check names at the door. Can’t wait to see everyone.
