In this first exhibition of the series, Olivia Tripp Morrow will use layers of textiles imbued with meaning from the women who donated them, to create a winding installation of colorful, abstract sculptures. These pieces literally and figuratively wrap individual experiences into a beautiful collective one. Over the course of the exhibition, the environment will grow, change, and be re-arranged.
The artist invites donations from women (anyone who identifies as a woman) of textiles (including clothing and linens) during her artist hours.
Gallery Hours: Tuesday – Saturday 10 am – 7 pm; and by appointment
Artist Hours: Thursdays 10 am – 2 pm; Saturdays 2 – 6 pm; Sundays 10 am – 2 pm; and by event and appointment.
IMMERSION is supported in part by an award from the National Endowment for the Arts.
